Painting (a-level)
a-level: £25 per hour Art (adult-learner)
I currently teach Art and Design at GCSE and A Level in a 6th form college in Cambridge. I have been teaching there for ten years. I specialise in painting and drawing, and am particularly keen to make sure that my students learn to draw well, as well as achieve high grades. I also try to ensure that they develop their own ideas, motivation and self dependency. I enjoy brainstorming a project and relating relevant artists. I encourage use of a variety of media. I would act as support for students already studying at school or retaking exams. I would also enjoy teaching any person of any age to paint and draw. I have had various exhibitions and work published.
Availability: Week-day early evenings by arrangement. Some day time teaching may be possible.
£25 per hour
Willing to travel: 5 miles
Experience: Teaching: St Andrew's Sixth Form College, Bellerbys Sixth Form College,
Mander, Portman and Woodward Sixth Form College, Cambridge.
Qualifications: A Level English and Art.
