I am a graduate from the University of Strathclyde with a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and have an MSc in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Manchester. I have just received my PGCE in Science (Chemistry) from the Institute of Education (London) and have passed all the relevant skills tests - so have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I have also just completed a residential course on 'The Art of Practical Science' organised by CLEAPSS - the main advisory board for science and technology to all local authorities in England in support of the National Curriculum. Availability: Evenings (anytime from 16:30hrs onwards) and Weekends (all day)

Experience: I have worked in a challenging school in West London during my PGCE training period, as well as an 'outstanding' school in North London. I have taught the 11-19 curriculum, teaching KS3 and KS4 Science, as well as KS5 Chemistry. I have experience of both OCR Gateway and AQA for the GCSE syllabus in KS4 Physics, Biology, and Chemistry, and Salters Chemistry at KS5. I have an excellent manner and approach to teaching, and place an emphasis on forming strong relationships with my students. During my training period, I developed a strong command of reflective practice.
