I am a young and experienced teacher recently graduated from Cambridge University. I have taught students in various humanities subjects. The age of my students has ranged from 12 to 40. (See below for further experience)
My academic interests include drama, early modern history and twentieth century literature. I have researched on diverse subjects, from African-American women novelists of the 1930s, to 17th century anthropology.
I am a clear, attentive and widely-read teacher who equips students of all levels with the tools to make intellectually adventurous arguments and to excel in exams.
I also like comedy.
Availability: Weekday afternoons, most weekends

Experience: I've taught English Literature and History at GCSE, As and A-level. As well as long-term students, I have taken on short-term students who want their grades boosted in the months leading up to crucial exams. In this capacity I have taken on students for as little as a month, to great success. I have also taught English at summer schools, and teach English as a foreign language to young adults at a school in West London on weekday mornings.
Qualifications: BA in history (with literature), Queens' College, University of Cambridge. Grade: starred first.
Cambridge English Language Teaching qualification.
