I am Carol and I’m 31. I have always been interested in other languages and cultures and have a degree in tourism. I have worked in France and Canada and understand the challenges of living and working in another country which most of my students face. I have worked in education both in colleges, in the community and in private tuition for five years. I enjoy working as a private English Tutor because it gives me the chance to combine my interest in education with teaching students from other countries.

Availability: Week days, evening, weekends

Experience: I have taught English both in classes and in private tuition in many different levels of English. I have taught beginners reading and writing. I saw one student progress to a college course and volunteering with the help of the tuition she received. In terms of advanced students I have taught students studying for IELTS, Citizenship and TOEFL exams. I also have experience of teaching English online and business English. For the past two and a half years I have been working in further education as a Classroom Support Worker so I have a good understanding of what is required of students studying in this country.
