 Chemistry (ks3, gcse, a-level)

I am a qualified teacher with specialism in chemistry. I have both an MChem (hons) and a PhD in Chemistry and I am also working towards Chartered Chemist status. I am currently teaching Chemistry to iGCSE and A level at a leading independent schools in cheshire. I am axperienced with working with students of all ranges abilities including helping students achieve A grades at both GCSE and A level. Previous to my career in teaching I have worked in the chemical industry in pharmaceutical manufacturing, speciality chemical manufacture and the electronics industry. I am keen on using my real life chemistry experience to bring chemistry to life and make it relevent to the student.

Availability: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and Sunday. Saturdays may be possible on occasion.

The distance I am willing tot travel will vary. Please enquire to find out. I live in Chester but work in Hartford, Cheshire so I am prepared to tutor with range of both of these locations.

Experience: I am currently teaching Edexcel international GCSE (iGCSE)and OCR A-level in Chemistry. I also have experience of other exam boards such as AQA.
I have previously taught all thre sciences to GCSE level and Chemistry to A-level.
I have taught Chemistry to undergraduates in tutorials and laboratories whilst working towards my PhD.

Qualifications: PGCE in Sceondary Science with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
PhD in Chemistry
MChem (Hons) in Chemistry with Industrial Experience
