I feel that my key strengths as a teacher are my excellent communication and facilitation skills which I use to keep my students motivated and focused. I feel that I am able to command respect from my students, but that I am also approachable at the same time.

I pride myself on making sure that all my lessons are well planned, up to date and relevant and have recently drawn up new schemes of work to accommodate the new specification. In the classroom, I use a range of techniques including discussion, dictation diagrams, case studies, past papers and tests to make sure my students are fully prepared to sit their exams.

I feel that one of my strengths is my well organised approach to record keeping, e.g. homework and test marks recording, report writing. I have also acted as personal tutor, meeting students to help them with both their academic and pastoral needs

I am a tutor who has an excellent understanding of the needs of young people and the demands of the syllabus

During this time I have developed considerable skills and experience which has led me to become an accomplished tutor
I have been an Examiner for 7 years for a number of boards including AQA and Edexcel. This has given me an excellent insight into how to prepare my students with the confidence and skills to answer exam questions to the highest standard.
I have taught at a wide range of educational establishments, including tutorial colleges, schools and university over my teaching career. During my career I have always offered one -to one work via agencies, and I receive many onward referrals from these students
