I currently teach Economics and Business Studies at GCSE, A Level and International Baccalaureate levels to a wide variety of pupils with varying abilities. I have experience in delivering courses for OCR, AQA, EdExcel and IB as well as being an assistant examiner for two examining boards (IB and AQA). Every week I also spend time working with primary school pupils who are in need of further assistance to progress in their English and Maths.

I gained a BA (Hons) Degree in Economics and Management Studies at Leeds University before spending two years working in the banking sector. After this I went on to complete a PGCE in Business Education at Edge Hill University and then found employment as a full time teacher in a Liverpool secondary school where i still work today. I am passionate about my professional development and have recently completed an `Outstanding Teacher Programme`. Currently I am working towards a Masters Degree in International Education at the University of Bath.

As I am a practicing teacher and not just a part time tutor, it enables me to keep up to date with the latest teaching and learning methods implemented in todays school environment as well as teaching the current subject specifications on a day-to-day basis. I have a competent understanding of both primary and secondary strategies and hold a valid enhanced CRB certificate.
