I am friendly, patient and enjoy making learning as fun as possible. Maths has always been a favorite subject of mine however I really can see why it can end up a nightmare for some. When teaching Im prepared to do whatever it takes to make something stick (within reason!). I have just finished A Levels at grammar school and have taken many exams in my time there so I know just how important it is to be as prepared as possible.

I have a younger sister who has always struggled with maths, however after spending some time going through the course with her she really started to get a grasp for it. I found her improvements in the subject so rewarding and would love the opportunity to help others. The help I gave her enabled her to achieve a B grade in her GCSEs.

With Maths practice questions are vital, however these will not be very successful is the theory behind the mathematical techniques are not solid. For best results I believe a mixture of both works the best.
