Guitar:
I have been playing guitar for 10 years and started out learning while still at school then joined a band at university. After playing gigs across the North of the UK I decided to study music at BIMM Bristol for a year, after which I took up teaching. Since then I have been rehearsing and recording with a metal band called Wolfthorn. My influences are Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen. I can teach a range of genres, music theory and sightreading.
Physics:
I graduated from the University of York in 2010 with a MPhys in Physics with Astrophysics. I was given a 1st for my project on observations of variable astronomical objects, where I studied a pulsating star.
