I graduated this year from St John`s College, University of Oxford, with a high 2.1 in English Language and Literature. I believe that tuition should be informal yet academically challenging and inspiring. In line with the ethos of Oxford University, I judge that one-to-one tuition is the best way to nurture and uncover every student`s particular talent and so maximise their enjoyment and success.

I can tutor English Language and Literature up to degree level. I can also offer help with preparation for Oxbridge interviews.

Availability: I am available in the Bournemouth and Poole area until March 2012 at various times during the week and at weekends. Please enquire by email to find a convenient tutorial time.

Experience: While at university I worked extensively for the university charitable fundraiser organisation Raise and Give (RAG), teaching and inspiring my peers and younger students to assume responsibility and to apply their talents in different ways. I have also informally tutored friends and fellow students at A-level and degree level. Having just finished my education, my knowledge of the curriculum (and the marking process) is still very much up to date. I have also developed communication and teamwork skills through amateur acting and working for university papers.
