With over 10 years teaching experience, I am comfortably qualified to teach KS1, KS2 and KS3 children in both maths and English. I am very proficient and have extensive experience of teaching a variety of children with differing needs and abilities from a range of backgrounds. I have the necessary skills and experience to boost children`s confidence and to make their learning fun, rewarding and meaningful. Lessons take place at my home (next to St Ann`s Well Gardens), in a bright and welcoming classroom, that is well equipped with a plethora of useful and engaging learning resources.

Experience: I have been tutoring privately for over a decade. It is a rewarding job that I love, and put my heart and soul into. My main ethos is to to build children`s confidence and make learning fun. Once they feel good about themselves and the subject matter, everything else (e.g. progression and attainment) falls into place. Tuition isn`t a chore for the children, but something to look forward to and enjoy.

I undertook my teacher training in London, where my school placements were located in Hackney and Tottenham. I moved to Brighton after qualifying in 2011, where I taught as a supply teacher for a year in various schools in Brighton and Hove and surrounding areas. Supply work led to my employment at a Junior School in Hove for 3 years, where I was involved in running a number of intervention classes. Whilst working at school, I set up my tutoring business, which I now focus on full time.
