I am a recently retired teacher with an honours degree in chemistry. I am presently a principal examiner with the Edexcel eamination board. I have 36 years of maths and chemistry teaching experience. I have tutored privately for the past 20 years or so, and believe that one to one tuition is usually the best way forward to achieve academic success, especially for students who lack confidence. Most of my present pupils are sent to me via the recommendations from the parents of former tutees.

Availability: I have 15 students at present, and can probably manage up to another 3, or up to an extra 3 hours per week.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: 36 years` teaching experience at secondary level. 20 years examining experience with Edexcel the last 5 of which as a principal examiner. 20 years of private tuition.

Qualifications: MA Honours degree in chemistry from Oxford University. I also hold a Teachers` Diploma and CRB credentials.
