I am keen to share my knowledge of mathematics and English with people of all ages, abilities and races and encourage them to participate actively in their own learning. I have a strong desire to help people achieve their potential.
With mathematics I help people develop their confidence, by establishing a solid foundation in basic numeracy, if necessary, and reinforcing new skills by practical activities and games.
With English tuition I like to make my lessons fun and relevant by using real life resources where possible for speaking, listening as well as writing and reading.
As I have strong ICT skills, I am happy to harness the Internet as a teaching resource, but rely principally on my own diverse range of materials.
I am happy to tutor online and am prepared to travel if my travel and accommodation are paid for. In Summer 2010 I tutored mathematics in a residential centre in Wales and in Summer 2011 I taught English at a summer school run by LaL. I am currently in the process of organising various short term teaching contracts in Central Europe.

Availability: Wednesdays, Fridays and evenings locally weekly.
Or residential short term contracts by arrangement.

Experience: 2 years maths tuition at secondary schools, adult numeracy tuition at sixth form college, TEFL at summer school in 2011, private tutoring for 15 years.

Qualifications: CELTA, PGCE, MBA and Maths BSc Hons iii
