20 years as teacher of Mathematics and Physics at an independent school. The last 10 years of this was as a head of department of mathematics. Also 8 years as a Lecturer of Mathematics, Physics and Engineering Science in two colleges of Further Education. He is particularly good with those pupils who find these subjects difficult to grasp and has developed many teaching methods to help develop understanding and confidence.
Research experience: Nick has published original work in scientific papers for peer reviewed academic journals in the fields of applied mathematics, cosmology and astrophysics.
Qualifications: B.Sc(Hons). M.Phil (Mathematical Physics). P.G. Cert. Ed.
