Oxford Maths Graduate - will bring you success! I provide maths tuition from age 14 upwards, specialising in exam practice and resits. I cover GCSE, (both for teenagers and adults), A-Level, and some undergraduate support. I can travel to anywhere in Solihull and the surrounding area, or teach at my home near Blossomfield Road if this is more convenient. I have a basic CRB check.

I currently have a full-time job and so only have limited capacity for giving tuition on some evenings and weekends.

I graduated from Oxford University in 2004 with a degree in maths, which gave me an in-depth understanding of the subject to a high level. I am 28 years old and engage with students by taking a different approach: I focus on explaining why something is relevant, as well as how to do it. I believe strongly in the benefits of 1-to-1 tutoring, because this enables me to go at the student's pace and to focus on the areas that are causing particular problems.

I am enthusiastic about the power of maths in solving real-world problems. I work in transport research and my personal research interests include the optimisation of vehicle flow and mathematical modelling of congestion charging schemes. I am also a full member of the Institute of Maths and its Applications (IMA).
