Hi there. I am a PE teacher with 10 years experience. I teach practical / theory PE in a large 11-18 mixed Catholic School in Liverpool area. I am also a Head of Year.

I am a family man with 3 kids, so if you are looking to be tutored at my place, you must be prepared to play with Buzz and Woody before / after the session!!! If you want me to come to you - please drop me a message and let me know where you are, and I will need to speak to a parent / guardian before the 1st session.

During my 10 years teaching GCSE and A level PE, I have taught a vast range of students. Some with extremely high levels of intellect who have achieved an A grade at A level, whilst I have also taught others who have struggled hard to achieve their targeted grade of an E at GCSE level.

For both GCSE and A level I have loads of activities / materials inc: interactive ICT games, presentations, notes, websites, textbooks etc... I am happy doing a one off session / series of sessions. I am happy to teach one subject / area you may be struggling with or to do a revision course for the whole syllabus.

Availability: Evenings / Weekends. No Sundays.

With family / work / church commitments, there may need to be a degree of flexibility. (i.e. I cannot guarantee my availability for 10 weeks every Thursday night 8-10pm)

Experience: I have taught GCSE and A level PE for the past 10 years. In this my 11th year of teaching, I am currently preparing students for GCSE, AS and A2 examinations to be sat in July 2011.
(I am also preparing yr13 students for January resit module of yr12 paper.)

- I have taught all areas of the GCSE PE course from AQA for last 10 years.
- I have taught A&P modules of AS and A2 PE course from AQA for last 10 years.
- I taught Psychology modules of AS and A2 PE course from AQA for 6 years. (2001-2007)

I have tutored a small number of A level students before in A+P and Psychology modules who were studying for AQA AS and A2 exams. Sessions were 1 or 2 hours.

(I have never taught Socio-historical side of any A level PE course - NOT MY CUP OF TEA!!! Please don't ask: The answer will be no!!! LOL :) )

* BA (QTS) Primary / Secondary Education in PE - grade 2:2.
