I am a qualified teacher with five years' experience of working with children. Graded as 'Good' by Ofsted in 2010, I am licensed by the General Teaching Council to teach all national curriculum subjects in state schools, including English, Maths and Science, to children aged between 4 and 11.

You will find me to be personable, enthusiastic and creative. I love working with children and aim to make tutoring fun, engaging and rewarding. After meeting with the tutee, I will carry out an assessment to determine his or her learning needs. I will then prepare a detailed education plan, including practical and hands-on activities. The tutee and I will then work through the plan together, before reviewing progress at the end of several sessions.

Additionally, I am able to tutor English as a foreign language to children or adults wishing to improve their language skills.

I have my own car and will travel outside of Chelmsford. My fee is £20 per hour.

Availability: Weekdays, after school, evenings and weekends.

Experience: Two years' teaching in a primary school as a qualified teacher. One year completing the Post Graduate Certificate in Education at Canterbury Christ Church University, undergoing three teaching placements including one in Lyon, France. Two years' experience working in crèches, nurseries, schools and as a childminder whilst at University.

Qualifications: BA (Hons) History - First class, University of Kent (2008).

PGCE Primary Education (QTS), Canterbury Christ Church University (2009).
