I am an enthusiastic experienced teacher of 5 to 19 year olds, and have been teaching for the last twenty years in Bristol schools, originally training as a primary teacher. Four years ago I started doing local tutoring and have had up to seventeen students a week, who I have prepared for local entrance exams, SAT tests, or given general help to catch them up, usually in English and Maths. I work on a one to one basis either in my home or the students. I have qualified experience (P.G.C.E.) with primary children, ESOL students, and also have done remedial teaching. My GCSE Maths students have done well, even after just a few weeks intensive study.
