I am a confident, friendly and motivated individual looking for new opportunities to utilise and expand upon my existing skills in teaching. I particularly value opportunities to work in varied environments that enable me to meet and assist a wide variety of people from various backgrounds; and have spent the last year working in Offender Learning.

This has broadened my range of experience, since I have now taught both literacy skills and English to all levels. Over the past seven years, I have frequently researched and written reports, organised events for various academic and non-academic purposes, led and participated in seminar discussions, given a variety of multimedia presentations to large groups of people and been required to assess peers whilst they performed similar tasks.

Availability: Daytime, evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have taught and tutored Skills for Life Literacy and Functional Skills English, in one to one and classroom settings.
I have tutored GCSE and A-Level English students.
I have lectured in English at an undergraduate level.

Qualifications: PGCE in Post-Compulsory Education and Training (post-14 curriculum)

MA (Merit) in English Literature from the University of Warwick.

Upper Second Class BA (Hons) in English Studies.
