Availability: Please contact me if you are looking for 13+, GCSE or AQA/Edexcel A Level Literature tuition. Availability is currently quite limited. I enjoy teaching AQA and Edexcel ALevel Literature, but cannot teach the OCR board for ALevel.

Tutees are expected to attend lessons punctually and consistently, and complete weekly homework to the best of their ability. Lessons will terminate when these conditions are not upheld.

Experience: I qualified as a teacher in 2003, spent five years as Head of English, two years as Head of AS Media, three years as Head of Key Skills (now `Skills for Life` or `Functional Skills`). I`ve taught 11+ children since 2004.

For over fifteen years, I have worked for all major boards to mark a range of GCSE and A Level exams nationally and internationally. I have also marked KS3 SATs, moderated A2 Literature coursework, and marked IGCSE papers.

In my last full-time employment, I increased the GCSE pass rate by 30% in just four months: results increased from under 50% to over 80%, with my own classes achieving an 89% pass rate. There were over 200 students in the non-selective cohort. I now enjoy being self-employed and do not teach in any educational institute.
