About me: I graduated from Oxford University a couple of years ago with a BA Hons in physics (also known as a 'BSc' in other universities).
Teaching Experience: I spent a year teaching mathematics and physics at an international school in the UAE. Since coming back to the UK, I have been privately tutoring AS and A2 mathematics and physics. Most of my students have acheived top grades in their Summer 2009 examinations and this has spurred me to continue tutoring privately for atleast another academic year.
I am familiar with most A Level specifications.
Approach to tutoring: I have been told, from the feedback I have received this year, that my sessions are "well prepared", "as challenging as they need to be" and "tailored" to the student (a page of student feedback and references are available on request).
In terms of my approach to tutoring, I would add that my sessions are fairly structured - 10 mins is spent going through the previous week's homework, which is followed by 30 minutes of explaining and discussing new concepts. The last 20 minutes is a "review" session in which we go through past examination questions.
