My vast subject knowledge is my main strength and I know how to help enable students to pass exams as well as to be able enjoy literature in a less academic way, if required. My main interest is in the novel form, from its infancy right up to more modern times, but I also have an interest in Romantic period poetry and all early 20th century works including those written for children.

Availability: Evenings and weekends

Experience: Voluntary work in both Primary and Secondary schools, as well as working with young people coaching martial arts. Previously I have worked in the London theatre industry, reviewing, marketing and selling musicals and plays and am now going to be working as a one to one schools tutor as well as tutoring privately

A-Levels in English, Psychology, Geography and General Studies
