Chemistry (ks3, gcse)
Maths (ks3, gcse, adult-learner, a-level)
Physics (ks3, gcse, adult-learner, a-level)
I am a lecturer/researcher at the University of Warwick. I teach a combination of maths, physics and chemistry. I have 3 years of experience teaching undergraduate students prior to which I finished my doctorate at Imperial College London. I really enjoy seeing the individual progress as they start to grasp the concepts I am teaching.
I use a rounded approach that gives my students an understanding of the core principals of the subject. I believe making my students enthusiastic about the subject is a key part of academic success and achieving excellent grades. I make the subject interesting and accessible to all by giving real life examples (of where these principles are used) along with an enthusiastic teaching style and past paper technique.
I like to run my sessions quite flexibly in that we can cover whatever material you wish (ie areas you find problematic, current course work, past papers etc). We can also work together in a more structured format if you wish (ie systematically working through the syllabus or through work/exercises/exam-style questions I would prepare myself beforehand). I will endeavor to meet your needs and find an approach that works for the student to achieve their goal, whether that be success at exams or in the classroom.
I want to see my students succeed and I have an excellent track record.
