I am currently studying Medicine at GKT Medical School at Kings College London. I took my A2 Levels in 2009 and secured 4 A's, keeping all 4 subjects from AS Level.

I offer tutoring in Biology and Chemistry up to GCSE level. I also have significant experience with regards to applying to Medical School, having sat both the UKCAT and BMAT, as well as through many medical school interviews. I can assist with writing and refining personal statements (UCAS Section 10), interview technique and mock interviews, as well as general guidance on medical applications.

Having recently sat the examinations myself, I am fully aware of the importance of "exam technique". Despite what some people believe, this can be improved in a pupil and will certainly improve their exam results: in the run-up to public examinations, I believe that a focus on this area is important.

Teaching the material is just one step to understanding and it is necessary for students to practice the type of questions that will come up. As each topic is covered, I will ensure that the student is confident and able to answer exam-style questions effectively.

Availability: Monday to Friday: after 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday: all day

I am available to tutor at my location or at yours.

Experience: While studying for my A2 levels, I spent one morning a week during free periods in a local primary school assisting with younger pupils reading and general classroom activities. I have experience tutoring GCSE-age students particularly in Biology and Chemistry as well as advising students on medical applications.
