I have been teaching Science and Maths for 22 years to GCSE level. I can teach separate Chemistry, Physics and Biology to GCSE level.
I teach Chemistry and Biology to A level.
I worked on the governments 1 to 1 Maths tutor programme in 2 secondary schools between 2008 and 2011.
I lived and worked in South America for 2 years and have a good level of Spanish and Portuguese. I can teach Spanish and Portuguese to A-level or teach holiday/business level language in either language.
I am patient and will match the level of work covered to the individual students needs.
I have worked at the following schools in the Bristol/Bath area
Brislington (f/t), Somervale (Midsomer Norton)(f/t), Broadlands (Keynsham)(p/t), Kings Oak Academy (Kingswood)(p/t) and Hayesfield (Bath)(p/t) the Bath Academy and Hayesfield.

Availability: Late afternoon, evenings and weekends. Some daytime possible but depends on other commitments

Robert has ben absolutely great working with my daughter on GCSE science. He gets right to work, brings study sheets and they spend every minute concentrating on the task at hand. He has an excellent way of getting my daughter to think about a question from many different angles so that she fully understands the concept. I highly recommend him.

Robert has only had a couple of sessions with our daughter, however I can already see her confidence increasing. She enjoys the sessions and feels confident to ask Robert for help with anything she has struggled with in school lessons.

Rob tutored my daughter in preparation for GCSE physics and chemistry. She was struggling to understand both but Rob managed to explain things in a way she could understand. In her mocks she was getting level 3/4 but in GCSE she achieved level 7 in both subjects which I believe was very much due to Rob’s help
