I am passionate about philosophy, mathematics and physics. I find it easy to communicate this enthusiasm to others. I am convinced of the profound role of education in the creation and preservation of a just society.
I have an empathic and sympathetic personality. It is important to me that the people that I work with feel respected. I have experience of working with young people with mental health issues: depression and anxiety, for example.
I have only one standard: excellence. I am absolutely committed to truth and am intolerant of dishonesty and any lapse from professional integrity.
I have published a book called "New Skins for Old Wine: Plato's Wisdom for Today's World."
Availability: Any time. I am happy to travel to a students home. I am very happy for students to come to my home. I have a study which is ideal as a teaching room. I am also willing to consider tutoring over Skype.
I will not charge travelling expenses within 2 miles of my postcode. I will charge £2 per total return mileage for travel between 2 and 20 miles one-way radius.
I am happy to conduct tutoring sessions for between one and three hours and to combine any of the subjects that I offer.

Experience: I have worked in a Sixth form College and Lectured at the Army School of Electrical and Aeronautical Engineering. I have also done quite a bit of personal tutoring work, in both Science and Mathematics.

Post Graduate Certificate in Education. [Portsmouth Univesrity]
Although I do not have a current CRB, I have had one in the past.
