I am a CELTA qualified teacher with good quality teaching experience. I am a friendly, approachable person, with a fun sense of humour. To make sure that my students understand what I am teaching them, I show a great deal of patience and explain ideas clearly.

By understanding the needs of my students and knowing their reasons for learning English, I am able to help them develop the skills they will need to reach their goals. I use a variety of visual, listening and practical activities to meet the different needs of the students. This makes sure that the lessons are more interesting and fun! I believe the more fun the lesson, the better the student will learn.

Availability: I am available weekday evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have experience in teaching students of different levels. This includes pre-intermediate, intermediate and upper-intermediate. Working as a qualified teaching assistant, I am currently employed in a very multi-cultural primary school. Many of the students do not have English as a first language. The school runs an after school class, which I teach, for parents who do not have English as a first language. I teach the parents literacy and numeracy skills so they can help their children with their learning.
