I enjoy working with students and seeing them grow in their confidence, discipline and abilities, and ultimately reach their potential. I usually see students once or twice a week and seek to complement the work they are set at school or work specifically towards examinations (including entrance exams, Key Stage 2 and 3, GCSEs, A-levels and beyond). I am flexible and am happy to work with primary, secondary, university and adult learners. I have some experience teaching two students at the same time, which brings a more stimulating dynamic to the lessons. I prefer students to come to my house to maximise my teaching hours, but am prepared to come out to you for a £6 call-out fee. I work all day weekdays to around 9pm and some Saturday mornings, though not Sundays.

Experience: I`ve had five years full-time teaching at a secondary school, and around eight years (3500+ hours) of private tutoring - over a decade of working with young people as an educator. I have taught nearly all major subjects in this order of expertise (most experienced first): English, Mathematics, Verbal Reasoning, Non-verbal Reasoning, Religious Studies, Drama, Philosophy, Critical Thinking, ICT, Music, History, French, Science, Latin, Geography, Sociology, Technology, Child Development. I am also a Debating and Public Speaking coach (having taken a team to victory in the national finals a few years` back). I am a qualified and experience teacher of English as a second/foreign language. I am an accomplished pianist and can give piano lessons at your home.
