During my time as a Teacher I have sought to develop new ideas, especially within my specialist subject area Fashion and Textiles. Having taught Key Stages 3 & 4, I implemented strategies which resulted in a pass rate during my first year of 67% I raised this to 100% in the AQA GCSE examinations in 2010, in 2011 my pupils pass rate was 80%. During an Ofsted inspection earlier this year I was praised for ‘very positive relationships with the pupils and a passion for the subject, and working with pupils.
