My name is Naomi and I graduated from Queen’s University, Belfast in 2011 with a double first in Spanish and Drama.

I spent a year abroad in Leon, Spain where I studied at university whilst also teaching English in a Primary School (to children between the ages of 6-8).

I am back in London after having completed an internship at a Portuguese Cultural Association in Bordeaux, France under the Leonardo De Vinci scheme.

I am looking to tutor students in Spanish (up to A Level) and beginner French (up to GCSE).

Availability:
On weekdays I am free after school hours (from 3 – 9).

On weekends I am free all day Saturday and Sunday.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I taught in a Primary school in Leon, Spain as part of the programme ‘International Assistants in Bilingual Schools’. I was teaching English to children (between the ages of 6 and 8) through the medium of games, songs and stories about British culture. It proved to be a very enjoyable experience for everyone.

I also taught English privately to a Spanish woman who had to start teaching her classes in English as her school had become Bilingual.

Qualifications: 2011 BA Spanish and Drama Double First Class Honours.

2011 Awarded the Xavier Giralt Prize (for academic excellence within the field of Spanish)

2011 Achieved ‘Distinction in Spoken Spanish’.

2009 Year abroad spent in Spain.

2007 4 A Levels including Spanish and French (both A grade)

2005 10 GCSES including French and Spanish (both A )
