primary level: £10 per hourI am a mature undergraduate studying a B.Eng(Hons)in Civil and Coastal Engineering at the University of Plymouth. I am a STEM Ambassador (Science, Technology, Engineeering and Maths)regularly involved in voluntary work to promote the uptake of these subjects to secondary school students,highlighting their application in the world of engineering.
I have two teenage children and am particularly familiar with the struggles of dyslexic students with poor short term memory, who need regular repitition and a 'spiral' approach to the curriculum.
Availability: Unfortunately I am unavailable for further maths tuition until June 2012 due to travel and study commintments.

Experience: I am passionate about maths and particularly good at explaining difficult concepts simply, using concrete examples.
I have tutored university students in the years below me and support my own young adults with their maths work.
Qualifications: A Level maths (equivalent);
Gained a first in foundation Engineering Maths and Technology (2008) University of Plymouth;
Average 80% in Engineering Maths for current B.Eng Degree.
