English (gcse, degree, adult-learner, a-level)
I am currently studying for my second degree in Addictions Counselling. However, i have a long standing love of English Literature and language. As well as a First class degree in English Literature from Warwick University, I have extensive experience with working with young people- from running a youth drop-in to mentoring young women at risk of social exclusion. My skills lie in making essay-writing, reading books and learning exam techniques fun and accessible. My experiences range from tutoring English Degree students to working to engage excluded young people with school and so, I work equally well with those who are aiming for academic excellency and those who are struggling to engage in school.
I also have expereince of helping people with Uni applications, personal statements and preparing for Uni interviews.
