I have been tutoring children for the past 9 years. I am very experienced in most aspects of exams and education. I tailor every lesson to your needs and help you to improve your essay writing for coursework and controlled assessments. I am familiar with AQA and WJEC exams and have a stock of past papers to work on with you. Exam technique and timing of your answers is my speciality.
I am working increasingly more and more with younger pupils who need help with Entrance Exams and 11 plus.
Availability: Most evenings after school from 4pm
Also some afternoons are available for college students who prefer to see me during the day
Experience: 25 years as an English teacher in a comprehensive school. Eight years as an exam marker for WJEC
Nine years as a private tutor in the Chester/Wrexham area.
Qualifications: BA Honours Degree in English Language and Literature
