Our son had a poor academic year 2009/10 and we decided to find a tutor to help him. We found Matthew on Tutorhunt and have been 100% satisfied with his approach and support to Joe. Matthew tutored Joe in Business Studies and History. Joe is now hoping to acheive A stars in both subjects in his GCSE`s this summer. Matthew communicates very well with Joe and when extra input is needed for exams etc he is always there supporting and encouraging him.
Joe also has an excellent relationship with Matthew which we consider to be vital to the success of the partnership. We are hoping that Matthew will tutor Joe over the next two years with his A levels which is a measure of their success this year.

After finishing A Levels I had a year off before studying Politics and Spanish at Kent University. During which I decided to retake my Government and Politics A Level and looked into getting a tutor since I had out of education for a year. Matt agreed to tutor me despite it only being a matter of weeks till the exam and having not specifically taught the content of my exam before. He geared our sessions towards what I was really struggling with and would go through it till I was confident I understood. He was friendly and flexible with how often we could meet as my exam was only a few weeks away. Originally, I had got a reasonably low C grade but with his help I managed to jump up to a very high B. I`d highly recommend him, whether if be for quick preparation for an exam or longer sessions throughout the year. Top of my list if I ever need any assistance in the future!
