Maths (primary, ks3, gcse, a-level)
I'm in my mid twenties and I quite an enigma for a Maths teacher (I would like to think). I'm a huge fan of Maths, Theatre and Sport. An avid swimmer and footballer I have been involved in competitive sports for over two decades now and have always found this healthy aspect of competition a driver in my own successes. Perhaps more confusingly for the people I have met, I am a Maths Teacher with a major love for acting, singing and playing my guitar.
Availability: Available any evening after 6pm and at weekends.
Willing to travel: 10 miles
Experience: I have been teaching for the last two academic years in an inner city Brixton school in South London. I have also worked in a grammar school in Enfield and, as such, I have been exposed to a vast range of educational backgrounds and current levels of attainment. I have helped Gifted and Talented students, SEN students and students who have been following a foreign curriculum to meet their goals.
I also have extensive experience of tutoring both in a small class scenario and as a private one-on-one tutor. I have tutored students toward their GCSE and their A Levels.
I am a Maths tutor looking to provide a friendly and encouraging tutoring service to all types of learners. I aim to alleviate any worries you may have regarding Maths by exposing those worries as something you can overcome with the right mindset and help!
