After graduating from Trinity College Oxford with a first class Masters in Engineering I reflected upon the opportunities education had afforded me, the horizons it broadened and the skills it had developed. It was such a valuable gift I decided to teach. I have also had a broad range of other career experience from healthcare to investment banking, this helps me to offer practical advice and guidance to A Level students considering their career.
Building self confidence and fostering a love for the subject is my overall aim. To do this I endeavour to establish a close working relationship with each tutee based on trust and their confidence in me to facilitate their exam success as well as address their wider educational needs. Thought process, rather than content, lies at the heart of my ambition to develop self sufficient learners yet I appreciate than content and technique cannot be understated when preparing for exams.

Experience: I've now taught in a variety of schools from an inner-city London school to more recently completing a period as Head of Physics in the Middle East. I now work as a Physics teacher at a top independent school is West London. I have tutored for over five years, gaining increasing satisfaction from watching young peoples' mind develop and confidence grow, as I myself become more experienced.
To this end I have recently become an A Level examiner and coursework moderator, a great insight into how to prepare pupils for examinations as well as address their wider educational needs. Education is a crucial part of any persons' life and as such I approach tutoring with both rigour and passion!
