I offer tutoring services in GCSE, A Level and Degree level English. I am patient and enthusiastic with students and aim to give excellent value for money! I am happy to tutor people of all abilities and ages.

I have a strong background in English Literature, having recently completed a research Master's which concentrated on Modernist writing and gender. However I have an extremely wide knowledge of the subject ranging from medieval literature and Shakespeare to nineteenth century and modern/contemporary literature as well as literary theory. I can provide the support to enable tutees to get to grips with a subject they find difficult, or the further, specialist knowledge needed to gain the highest grades. As well as subject knowledge I can provide help with writing style and how to research an essay. I greatly enjoy supporting students and am enthusiastic and passionate about my subject and convey this to those I teach. I am happy to tutor all abilities and ages and will work hard to help you achieve your best.

Availability: I am available to work on weekday evening and Saturdays/Sundays by arrangement. I can take pupils in both Cambridge and London.

Of my tutees sitting exams in 2010, my GCSE pupil achieved A*s in English Language and English Literature and my A Level pupil achieved an A grade and entry to Oxford University.

I am currently studying for my PGCE in Secondary English at the University of Cambridge and working during the day in a central Cambridge school.
