Accounting (degree, adult-learner, a-level)
Businessstudies (degree, adult-learner, a-level)
Economics (degree, adult-learner, a-level)
I am a Masters Degree Holder in Banking and Finance currently working on my PhD proposal on Behavioral Finance. I have tutored students in economics, corporate finance / financial management, financial risk management at both undergradute and postgraduate levels and helped them score distinctions in their exams and course works.
To me teaching means developing a student`s ability to learn, to think logically, to analyze and comprehend the nuances of the subject that they are learning. Hence I teach them how to think and not what to think.
I believe that there is nothing one can not learn. Each student is unique and it is upto a teacher to use an approach that most suits the student instead of adopting a common approach for all students.
In addition to tutoring degree level students and preparing them for examinations I also work on projects for a well known invesment consultancy firm and a market research company. I like reading about architecture and I also listen to music during my spare time.
