I offer friendly but structured teaching and specialise in boosting students' exam grades, in which I have a proven track record.
I have an up-to-date knowledge of the syllabuses of all the UK GCSE and A Level exam boards. Past papers can be supplied, marked to the official mark scheme, and returned to the student with advice on how to improve.
Resit candidates are a speciality of mine and I offer revision, exam technique, speaking test preparation, mock exams; help on essay writing, grammar, comprehension and cultural topics, as required.
Availability: Weekdays, evenings and weekends

Experience: 16 years tutoring and teaching experience; former head of department in an independent grammar school in Greater Manchester.
Qualifications: B.A. Hons in Modern Languages
