 Maths (a-level)

I am an Engineering student at the University of Bristol. I study a general course incorporating elements of leadership, however specialise in Civil Engineering. I pursued this degree following my interest and flare for maths, having studied Maths and Further Maths at A-Level.

Apart from academic study I have a great interest in sports and have played most team games I can think of. I love being outside and have recently become a member of the territorial army through my University. Whilst I can't be deployed through this unit, it gives me a good opportunity to meet a range of people and spend the occasional weekend running around the woods.

Availability: I am currently on a placement year working in an engineering company 9-5. I am available in the evenings after 5pm and at weekends.

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: My teaching experience ranges from sports coaching, sailing instructing, teaching under privileged children in Kenya and working with illiterate adults in Kenya.

This range of teaching has taught me patience, adaptability and most importantly to think unconventionally and approach a subject from an angle that the tutee will understand. I am friendly and approachable, but will push a tutee to reach their potential.
