I am patient and encouraging with a flexible approach, tailoring every lesson individually taking into account each student`s strengths, previous learning and goals. Over the years I have helped my students increase their understanding and confidence in maths, improve their grades and enjoy maths more.

Availability: From September 2019 I will be available for tutoring weekday evenings only.
I am able to give lessons at the student`s home in Ashford, Kent only.

Experience: After completing my teacher training in maths in 2009, I was a maths teacher for one year with classes from year 7 to year 11. I chose to switch to tutoring instead, as through tutoring I can offer students a more personalised approach that enables them to progress more rapidly. Initially I focused on tutoring only, with students from year 5 through to A Level. Since then I have worked in analytical roles alongside tutoring. From November 2018 to summer 2019, I tutored an average of 4 hours a week at a local tutoring centre, working with small groups of students from year 5 to year 11.
