With over ten years tutoring experience, I pride myself in tailoring my classes and study programs to the individual needs, ambitions, expectations, abilities and characteristics of each student. I believe in the joy of learning and do everything I can to instill that in my students whether that be working at the desk, around the dining table, with a dvd or out on a field trip somewhere.
I have a degree from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in acting and read English Literature at the University of York, one of the top five departments in the country and Sunday Times University of the Year while I was there. I graduated with a 2.1 BA Hons from here.
I am half British and half German, was brought up bilingually and still visit Germany at least twice a year. This gives me a great perspective on the German language and culture.
My fees are negotiable, especially when a series of classes is booked in advance.

Experience: I have been tutoring for over ten years at all levels and to all ages. I have worked a lot with students working on Common Entrance and Scholarship exams, but also devised Key Stage 3, GCSE and ALevel learning programs, either as an addition to work at school or in order to take the exam independently. I have a consistent pass/upgrade rate and really enjoy helping my students develop. I have a wealth of experience with adult learning and also very young children.
