I am currently a 2nd year student of Pharmacy (MPharm) at Cardiff University.
I have a particular passion for science, especially biology and chemistry, and I feel confident in helping others to learn and understand these subjects. My current course includes such sciences, including Maths and therefore my understanding of these subjects is very strong.
Furthermore I am a mature student, who has previously graduated with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences (2.1), so I have a very competent and complete knowledge of Biology especially.
I believe science is an essential area to fully understand and grasp for youngsters, to provide a good foundation to build their education and future career on. I am enthusiastic about teaching children about science, and hope to give them a chance to understand and acquire a similar passion that I have for the subject.
I am a very patient and methodical individual and will aim to instill this when teaching my tutees. I will take the time that is necessary to ensure the student gets a strong grasp of the concepts, and a comprehensive understanding.
Availability: I am available at varying times throughout the week due to a changing timetable, but I can accommodate around my timetable when you contact me. I am free weekday evenings and weekends.

Experience: I have experience of teaching English and Maths to disadvantaged children in India (2011). I was responsible for around 20 children ranging from 8-10 years old, and set the class classwork and homework, whilst also ensuring their safety.
Qualifications: I have attained a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Newcastle University (2009), at a 2.1 class.
