I am a 19 year old undergraduate at St Hugh's College, Oxford, reading French and Arabic. I have a passion for languages, having studied French, German, Latin and Spanish at GCSE, and French and German at A-Level, and I recently achieved a double first in my first year exams at Oxford. Next academic year, I will be in Lebanon studying Arabic as part of my degree course.

Aside from modern foreign languages, I studied English at A-Level, so I am well-equipped to teach literature, both foreign and English, and I can also offer help with university interviews and personal statements.

As the eldest of four siblings, I am used to helping children of all ages, and I am patient and sympathetic to their needs. I would prepare exercises in advance that are suitable for the level of language, but I am equally prepared to be flexible and adapt to the individual needs of each student as required.

Availability: I am available during the day and evening on both weekdays and weekends until the beginning of October 2011.

Experience: I have taught French in a primary school and tutored French at Common Entrance (11 plus) level. Two years ago I taught English in Tamil Nadu, India, for two weeks.

Qualifications: 3 A*s in French, German and English at A-Level.
As in both History and Additional Maths at AS Level.
11 A*s at GCSE.
