I am a fully qualified and experienced French, German, Spanish and ESOL teacher. I have a real passion for languages and have lots of engaging resources to teach with.

I charge a competitive £33 per hour and I offer excellent discounts for two or more students attending together.

I teach French and ESOL to students of any age and up to a high level. At the time of writing, I prefer to teach Spanish and German only to children at beginner - intermediate level.

Availability: Monday 9.15 - 4pm
Tuesday 10.30 - 4pm
Friday 8-3.30pm


Some weekday evenings 7pm - 9pm.

Experience: I have fifteen years experience of teaching languages. Six of this has been in Secondary schools where I taught French and German at GCSE level and so have an excellent understanding of the GCSE exams. I now work in a Preparatory School teaching children aged 5-13 including Common Entrane Level. Since leaving Secondary school teaching I have continued with GCSE teaching through private tuition and so naturally I have kept up-to-date with the new exams: last year I successfully tutored a student through the new course.

I have also delivered French, German and Spanish courses to adults via adult-education centres and spent a summer teaching ESOL at a language school in Oxford.

I now work part-time teaching French in a Preparatory school as well as running my own language tuition business called Enjoy Languages. At present, this mostly involves doing private tuition as well as my own running French clubs for young children.

I am a cheerful teacher with a passion for languages and have built-up a large bank of resources to ensure lessons are interesting and enjoyable.
