I have been teaching for 9 years and have taught every year group in the primary sector throughout my teaching career. I am well known for my pastoral care role and my academic knowledge within school due to the subjects I co-ordinate. I studied at Roehampton University. I am married with two children and so have a good understanding of children from both sides of the learning fence! I love teaching and seeing individuals achieve. Every child deserves the taste of success, it's just that some need a little extra guidance and confidence in getting there.

My approach to tutoring varies according to the child I am tutoring. I use the first lesson to assess the child and ascertain how they like to learn. I discuss this with the parents first to get a picture of the child and their needs. This means that tutoring can begin in earnest almost immediately.

Availability: I'm available for evening and weekend tutoring.
