I am a friendly, patient person who has a lot of experience working with a variety of students, of all ages and wide-ranging abilities and temperaments. I always aim to strike up a positive personal relationship with students as I believe they work best when their comfortable with their teachers and feel able to trust them.
Academic learning if often hard-work, but I try to make it as fun as possible, and depending on the student, use different techniques/games to encourage an enjoyable atmosphere while positive learning takes place.

Experience: In July 2011 I will have graduated from Cambridge University with a BA in English, Drama and Education. I also have an Associate's Degree in Acting from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York.
Before taking up my studies I volunteered for 3 years teaching drama in a local primary school. I then worked for a year in the same school as a Teaching Assistant, though mainly with Special Needs children. I have also done private tutoring before, with great success.
I can offer tutoring in Maths up to Year 9 and English up to A-Level. Am also happy to offer support in other subject areas if required.

5 A-Levels and 2 AS-Levels
