My name is Liana, I am a recent graduate of the University of Leicester where I read English. As an English graduate I love to read, and believe that literature and language should be there for people to enjoy and explore. Even if you don't enjoy it, I think literature in particular should be accessible to everyone, and I hope to help children access it, understand it, and excel at it. My particular area of interest within literature centres around the Shakespearean plays and poems, the work of Christopher Marlowe and Rochester. My dissertation centred around 'American Literature of the 20th century'.

Availability: I am currently self employed so am available most weekdays and Saturdays. I am available to tutor between the hours of 9am - 9pm.

Willing to travel: 8 miles

Experience: Although I have very little experience in schools, I do have some experience in helping others with homework, while still at school I was a prefect and then head girl, and so made myself available to the younger pupils if they needed help with their work. Now I would like to focus on English rather than any other subject though. I also have experience in being in charge of a group of minors - I completed an internship at a London modelling agency where I had to chaperon and generally take care of a group of teenage girls aged between 14 and 17.

Qualifications: 9 GCSEs - 2 A*, 2 A, 4 B and 1 C. The A*s were attained in English. I recieved a letter of congratulations from the board of examiners as my Literature paper achieved one of the top five marks in the country that year.

3 A Levels - 2 A in English Literature and Geography, 1 B in Government and Politics.
