I was a college lecturer in English Language and in English as a Foreign Language, teaching students and adults aged 16 and over. In recent years, I have focussed on tutoring undergraduate and postgraduate foreign students. I have worked closely with them to correct their written English so that assignments reflected accurately what they wanted to convey. I have also analysed and amended students` vivas so that their projects flowed - helping students to gain confidence before oral presentations.

As well as being an experienced language teacher, I have worked in business and am familiar with different cultures as a result of working abroad and extensive travel.
