I am a bright and enthusiastic 24 year old, living in Enfield and working in London, and looking for opportunities to tutor KS3, primary, GCSE and A Level students in central or north London at evenings and weekends. I have always been passionate about, and dedicated to, learning, and I know that I am able to instil confidence and enthusiasm into others.

Availability: Week nights from 7.15pm (or earlier if closer to central London than Enfield) and weekends.

Experience: Whilst studying for my A levels I used some of my free periods to tutor GCSE level students in an ‘assisted learning’ programme, and also to help out in lessons – I did each of these once a week for an academic year. The ‘assisted learning’ programme involved helping students to improve their comprehension, spelling and numeracy skills, prior to taking their GCSEs, through exercises and giving explanations. Helping out in lessons involved assisting any members of the class who were struggling to keep up, by giving extra explanations and encouragement where necessary. I was also a prefect at school. In my university holidays I worked as a Park Ranger, working closely with children of various ages to supervise them on play areas and activities, and to teach them how to canoe! At university I volunteered in a crèche once a week (after passing a necessary CRB check).
